Our purchasing process was fraught with issues due to a combination of last-minute changed minds (our fault) and, ultimately, sellers who were especially challenging to work with. Throughout the process Leo was a patient advocate and advisor. He is a consummate professional but his ability to put you at ease and make you laugh also made it feel like you were working with a friend. He also is extremely well networked and has “a guy” (or gal) for anything you will need during the process (think: handymen, plumbers, etc). We were grateful beyond words, and knew when the time came to sell our home he would be the one we'd list with. Our plan was always to raise our boys in Fort Mill, but then sell once our youngest graduated high school. Consistent with our timeline, Leo kept in regular touch with us over the course of a decade; always available to stop by and help us keep our home up to date and relevant. Needless to say, in 2024 when we decided it was time to begin preparing for sale, Leo was our guy. Leo not only walked us through what needed to be done, he spent the next six months in almost daily contact advising, recommending and referring us: flooring, roofing, painting, windows, landscaping and more. When the time came to list, the collaboration we had with Leo continued, which included specific time-of-day photography, narrative statement, listing details, timeline and price. We found great comfort knowing it would sell fast. What we didn't know was that it would sell the first day at full asking price, and would continue to go smoothly and predictably straight through to the day we closed. Not only did Leo set the bar as both our buyers' agent and sellers' agent, he did so with patience, respect and unmatched consistency and diligence. He didn’t take our work for granted and hit it out of the park with his initial presentation while leaving us confident that whether we used his services or not the friendship would remain intact. He was able to roll with everything that came up. He had a network of good people to work with for home repairs and presentation and helped us manage and negotiate bids. Any issue that came up he was able to help us and was always proactive with communication so we knew everything that was going on. Leo knew we had had some difficult experiences with realtors in the past and took it upon himself to make sure we had only the very best experience with him.
